Windows DLL or Java Bean

The A-Prompt toolkit is designed as a module that may be integrated with HTML editing programs. Is is available in 2 versions - a Windows DLL and a Java bean.

Toolkit Prompting or Editor Prompting

After the user enters an HTML element in the editing program, the element is sent to the A-Prompt toolkit for validation. The toolkit validates the HTML and returns a code which describes the accessibility problems with the element. If there are accessibility problems with the HTML element, the editor can either:

1. Have the toolkit display a wizard that guides the user through the process of creating accessible HTML. The validated HTML element is returned to the editor.

2. The editor is responsible for displaying dialogs and interacting with the user to create the accessible HTML.
